wedotv is an OTT Service through which users and members can access films and television programs as video content ("wedotv Content"). The term over-the-top content (OTT) refers to the transmission of video and audio content via internet access without an internet Service provider being involved in the control or distribution of the content. The transmission takes place via the internet to TV sets, computers and other devices ("wedotv ready devices"). The user can also access the wedotv Content via the wedotv website or the wedotv app. Technical requirements for the use of wedotv are an internet connection and streaming compatible end device as well as the use of a current marketable web browser or the wedotv app.
The wedotv Service is provided to you by Video Solutions AG, represented by the President of the Board, Philipp Rotermund, Zählerweg 5, 6300 Zug, Switzerland.
wedotv is a free Service. This means that users may use wedotv for free with advertising.
1. Free Version
The user can use the Content free of charge, but must accept that advertisements are shown in all programmes. Free wedotv Services are financed by advertising. In this respect, wedotv reserves the right to display personalised advertising (e.g. advertising clips from advertising partners) for its own offers and offers from third parties before and during the streaming of video content.
The quality of the streaming depends on the availability and connection of the user to the internet. For technical reasons, the quality of wedotv Services (e.g. video quality) may be lower in certain locations (especially abroad). A claim for constant availability or a certain quality of the wedotv Services does not exist at any time.
wedotv reserves the right to provide individual wedotv Services only in certain regions for technical or legal reasons. Technical measures (e.g. geotargeting based on the IP address of the internet connection used), may not be circumvented or disrupted by the user.
2. wedotv Service
2.1 You must be at least 18 years old or of legal age to use the wedotv Service. Minors may only use the Service under the supervision of an adult.
2.2. the wedotv Service and any content viewed through the Service is for your personal and non-public use only. During the general use of wedotv, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for normal intended use to access the wedotv Service and view wedotv Content. Except for the foregoing limited license, no right, title or interest is transferred to you. Use for business and other purposes not stated herein is not permitted. In particular, the user may not permanently store, "rip", record, copy, share or otherwise reproduce wedotv Content that is only provided via streaming or make it publicly available to third parties.
2.3 You may view wedotv Content only in geographic locations where we provide our Service and have licensed such Content. The Content that may be available for viewing varies by geographic location and changes from time to time. The number of devices on which you can view at any one time will depend on your chosen subscription and will be specified on the „Profile“ page.
2.4. wedotv regularly makes changes to the Service, including the content library. We also may test various aspects of our Service, including our website, user interfaces, advertising features and the availability of wedotv Content.
2.6. The quality of wedotv Content viewing may vary from device to device and may be affected by a number of factors including your location, available bandwidth and / or the speed of your internet connection. The availability of HD, Ultra HD and HDR depends on your internet Service and device features. Not all content is available in all formats, e.g. HD, Ultra HD and HDR. Default playback settings on mobile networks exclude HD, Ultra HD and HDR content. The minimum connection speed for SD quality is 0.5 MBit / s. However, we recommend a faster connection to improve video quality. For receiving HD content (720p resolution or higher), a download speed of at least 5.0 MBit / s per stream is recommended. A download speed of at least 25.0 Mbps per stream is recommended to receive Ultra HD (defined as a resolution of 1080p or higher) and HDR content. You are responsible for all internet access charges. Contact your internet service provider for information on possible internet usage charges. The time it takes to launch wedotv Content depends on a number of factors, including your location, available bandwidth, the content you select and the configuration of your wedotv-enabled device.
2.7. wedotv always endeavours to ensure the continuous availability and error-free functionality of wedotv. However, for technical reasons and due to dependence on external influences, such as power supply disruption, hardware and software errors, uninterrupted availability cannot be fully guaranteed.
2.8 Occasional maintenance work can lead to a temporary impairment of the usability or availability of wedotv. wedotv will always carry out maintenance work outside of the usual usage times, if possible. Plannable work that foreseeably requires an interruption of normal operation will be announced to the user in advance via email and / or within the wedotv app. As far as possible, this includes information about the type, extent and duration of the impairment.
2.9. The wedotv software was developed by or for wedotv and enables the viewing of wedotv Content through wedotv-enabled devices. The wedotv software may vary between devices and media, and features and functionality may also vary between devices. You acknowledge that use of the Service may require third party software that is subject to third party licenses. You agree that you may automatically receive updated versions of wedotv and associated third party software.
3. passwords and account access
The member who created the wedotv account (the "Account Holder") has access and control over the wedotv account and the wedotv-enabled devices used to access our Service. In order to maintain control of the Account and prevent anyone from accessing the Account (which would include viewing history information for the Account), the Account Holder should maintain control of the wedotv-enabled devices used to access the Service and not disclose the password to any third party. You are responsible for updating and ensuring the accuracy of the information you provide to us in relation to Profile. We may terminate the profile or place the profile on hold to protect you, wedotv or our affiliates from identity theft or other fraudulent activity.
4.2. Unsolicited Materials. wedotv does not accept unsolicited materials or ideas for wedotv Content and accepts no responsibility for the similarity of content or programming in any medium to materials or ideas submitted to wedotv.
4.6 In case of complaints, you as a user can contact the European platform for online dispute resolution in consumer matters: http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/.
However, as a precautionary measure, we would like to point out that wedotv does not participate in a dispute resolution procedure before a consumer arbitration board and is not obliged to do so in any way.
