Cimafunk is a big name on the Latino scene. Combining Afro-Cuban traditions with a funky urban repertoire, the performer recalls the rock experiments of Carlos Santana and the Nuyorican scene of the 70s, an electric musical fusion itself steeped in groove. Performing at the Grande Halle de la Villette in Paris, the Cuban funkateer invites the legendary Fred Wesley on stage, a trombonist and arranger closely associated with James Brown's legendary band the J.B.'s.
